The Faculty of Sports Sciences at Sadat City National University was established by Presidential Decree No. 267 of 2025 as the first specialized faculty of its kind among Egypt’s national universities. This step reflects the university’s commitment to modern scientific development and its leading role in community service and environmental development, through a dedicated academic institution that prepares scientific and professional cadres in sports and related sciences. The initiative also aligns with Egypt Vision 2030, which emphasizes human development and sustainable progress, amid the rapid growth of the sports sector and rising demand for scientifically qualified professionals across sports science fields. The faculty aims to deliver distinguished academic programs that support research and practical applications, and to advance the sports ecosystem locally and regionally — in line with the university’s mission to spread knowledge and build a healthy, active society capable of competition and creativity.
